Petunia "Lavina Blue Star" F1.
An unusually beautiful plant with hanging shoots 40-60 cm long. Young bushes are erect, growing, the shoots hang down and form a real avalanche of large bicolor flowers 7-10 cm in diameter. Blooms profusely from June to October.
Used in flower beds for bright groups, on borders, ridges, and in hanging baskets.
Works great both in the ground and in container decoration. It tolerates replanting perfectly in a blooming state.
Sowing: February-April for seedlings.
Seeds in granules! In order to facilitate sowing and growing small-seeded crops, a system of coating each seed with a special composition was developed. When moisture gets on the granule, the shell crumbles. The granules are placed on the surface of slightly compacted and moistened soil, without covering them, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with glass and kept at a temperature of +20+24°C, preventing the shell of the granules and compost from drying out until the seedlings germinate and, periodically, removing the glass from the surface drops of condensation. Shoots appear only in the light (excluding direct sunlight) on day 10-15. After the first true leaf appears, the crops are ventilated and the glass is subsequently removed, gradually lowering the temperature to +14+16°C. Seedlings do not tolerate waterlogging well. Hardened seedlings are planted in the ground after the end of spring frosts at a distance of 15-20 cm.
Care: petunia grows best in well-lit areas with light, fertile soil. It responds gratefully to watering and regular feeding.
Flowering: from June until frost.
